Rihanna Relives Her Attack

After much anticipation, Rihanna finally comes out about her attack from former boyfriend, Chris Brown. Despite the bruises and betrayal, Rihanna admitted today on Good Morning America that she still finds herself in love with Brown.

In her interview Rihanna said, “He was definitely my first love. We were best friends. The more in love we became the more dangerous we became for each other; equally as dangerous because it was a bit of an obsession.”

The dispute began in Brown’s car following a pre-Grammys party. Rihanna found text messages in his phone and caught him in a lie. Brown continued to lie and Rihanna could not drop the matter, which escalated the argument into a violent fight. At one point, her mouth was full with blood.

Rihanna admits it was hard to let go of Brown because he was her best friend; they were in love. She said, “It takes time. Love doesn’t go away right away. Obviously he didn’t want us to be apart, but I know how to make a decision for me.”
