Cleaning Your Body from the Inside Out

After scarfing down pizza, beer, and an array of other greasy foods that Americans eat almost on a daily basis, it is hard to  get your body into "diet" mode without it craving those foods. One of the best ways to start off your new diet is to do a cleanse of your body.

Some people take it to the next level and do a 2 or 3 day fast, but that is not necessary. There are Master Cleanse recipes everywhere online that want one to drink a concotion of lemonade, cayenne pepper, and maple syrup, but there are also more appetizing alternatives. Aside from doing an all liquid cleanse, of just water and fresh squeezed fruit and vegetable juice, one can also do a cleanse where all you eat is raw fruit and veggies and drink only water or herbal tea for 7-10 days. You will feel lighter, fresher, more energized, and much more healthier than before.

After your cleanse, it is important that you do not completely ignore your occasional cravings for chocolate or pizza, but that you lighten up your favorite treats. For example, here is a recipe for a healthy pizza that is loaded with fresh vegetables and won't make you feel sluggish and bloated after you eat it.
