Something To Think About: Prozac or Candy?

In today’s society the people we look to the most when we are sick are doctors, but it’s strange that the people we trust the most are handing out medication like candy. I would compare this act much like trick or treating. You walk up to the door, or walk into the doctors office, ask trick or treat, or ask for something to make you feel better, and you get a trick and some treats, or you get TRICKED by some TREATS.

Doctors are tricking their patients into really thinking that they truly care about curing us when all they really care about it how much money their making off of us.

With depression at an all time high, many people who are diagnosed with this disease are dying. Doctors are the murderers and Prozac are their weapons.

Prozac, one of the most common anti-depressants prescribed may help make people feel better temporarily, but in the long run it is hurting the body a great deal. Once you start taking the pill it is many times almost impossible to stop.

Serotonin, in laymen’s terms, is a hormone produced in your body that basically makes you happy. Sometimes the body does not create enough serotonin naturally and Prozac helps increase it in your body.

Now this sounds like a great idea, take a pill and be happy. It also sounds just like taking ecstasy, except without the holes in your brain and the part about it being illegal but it works the same way. Take the pill and feel amazing and come off the pill and you feel at an all time low.

So if this tiny pill is only a quick fix and almost impossible to stop using then their is an issue as to why doctors prescribe it without any reservation as to whether or not there is a better solution.
