Nikki Prairie

Since I love trying new restaurants, I thought a great idea for my blogs would be to review some of the most recent ones I have been to. A friend and I decided we wanted to try somewhere new the other day, and since we don't usually venture into downtown Tampa to eat out, we thought we would try it. We stumbled across a small, modern looking restaurant called Spain on a side street. It was kind of tucked away in an area that doesn't get a lot of traffic. Inside was all decorated in white and very modern looking. There weren't a lot of people inside, but it was early, so we didn't think anything of it. The menu is all tapas, and the food was phenominal. They had the best chicken croquettes I had had in a long time. Also, the prices were very reasonable compared to other tapas restaurants in South Tampa. The only complaint I had was the service, since it took a very long time to be waited on after we sat down, which was frustrating, because we were hungry and the menu looked so good. I wonder if many people don't know about it because it is so hidden. Even though the service wasn't great, the food and the atmosphere will definitely make me come back. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes tapas and is looking for something new. Attached is the menu. Enjoy :) http://tomaspain.com/
