Erickson, Alexa: Restaurants in Tampa, FL

Last night, I gave the restaurant "CHEAP" a try for the first time with a friend of mine, Allie. Located in Hyde Park, The atmosphere resembles a chic NYC-style restaurant. The dimly set lighting fixtures hang from the ceiling above the long, shiny brown tabletop located in the center of the bar, which Allie and I sat at an end of, along with numerous other groups.
We ordered a half pitcher of red wine sangria and peach sangria, equally refreshing and flavorful...and free! The reason being that we brought along two complimentary "drink cards" designated for a handful of hot spots in Hyde Park. We decided to split three tapas style entrees. We started off with the "Chorizo en Sidra" cooked in apple cider, for $7. The thinly sliced chorizo in the sauce was a flavorful, spicy-sweet combination in my mouth. The second dish we ordered was the roasted "Pork Tenderloin" with sautéed spinach with raisins in a caramel sauce for $9. My mouth is watering for this plate as I speak! The final dish we ordered were the "Bandarillas," for $8, which consists of an assortment of chicken and beef skewers, equally as flavorful as the first two tapas dishes.
Between the food and drink, I was equally satisfied and thrilled with the choices I picked. And with a $26 bill (since the pitchers were complimentary), we ended the night happy customers. I recommend this restaurant fully!
