Nikki Prairie- Last Restaurant Review

I know I have talked a lot about Tapas restaurants (probably because they are my favorite), so I thought I would give a little insight on something different incase not everyone shares my love for small plates. For all of you Thai/Asian food lovers out there, there is an amazing and very affordable place on South Dale Mabry called Pei Wei. It is an Americanized version of Thai food, and they make the menu very easy to understand with descriptions of everything. It is set up a lot like Panera Bread or Chipotle, except they have dishes like Pad Thai, Spring Rolls, and Spicy Thai Chicken Salad on the menu. Pei Wei takes pride in having all of their entrees priced under 10$. They are owned by P.F. Chang's, so you can expect the same level of quality with a more casual atmosphere. Even though you order your food at the front, they still bring the food to you once you sit down, so you don't have to stand and wait for it. It is a very refreshing, different place to go in that price range. There is also a lot of seating in the restaurant so you rarely have to wait for a table. The service is also great. Everytime I've been I haven't waited more than 5-10 minutes for my food, which is nice if you are in a rush. Pei Wei is definitely a place to check out, but I will warn you now...it is addicting! The most popular dishes are probably the Edamame, Mongolian Beef, and Spicy Pad Thai, all of which I would highly recommend. This is the perfect place to go if you are looking for a quick bite to eat that is very unique at the same time, and without the high prices. To look over the menu or order takeout online, visit their website. PEI WEI
